Servicemembers' Civil Relief Act (SCRA)

The Servicemembers Civil Relief Act (SCRA) applies to qualified active duty military personnel. Benefits provided under the SCRA vary.

Retail Customers

Please provide GM Financial with military notification that includes your name and active duty date. GM Financial must receive notification in one of the following formats:

1. A copy of the active duty orders;
2. A letter from your commanding officer on military letterhead; or
3. Some form of official notification

Send the active duty notification to the Customer Service Support department via fax or mail.

To process your payments efficiently while you are in active service, one convenient option is to enroll in the Military Allotment (MAC) program. Military allotment is a payroll deduction plan offered to armed forces personnel.
